This special 2-hour workshop combines the foundations of feather fan dance, musicality, freestyle movement, choreography, and performance into one community building immersive class experience.

Together we will explore:
• feather fan technique, grip, flow, and transitions
• posture, lines, walking patterns, and stage presence
• musicality, timing, and emotional connection to movement
• floor work and/or chair dance with fans
• dancing with others, spatial awareness, and traveling movement
• freestyle exploration and developing your own artistic style
• choreography, entrances, exits, posing, and performance energy

This class is designed for performers, dancers, movers, and curious creatives of varying experience levels who want to deepen confidence, embodiment, theatricality, and self-expression through movement.

Mia provides a supportive, empowering environment focused on personal style, intentional movement, glamour, confidence, and creative freedom.

The workshop concludes with a full class performance experience where participants will have the opportunity to bring everything together in a supportive and celebratory environment.

Bring your own fans or borrow a pair for class. Small and large feather fans available to borrow.
No hard-soled shoes.
