Testimonials
Ariadne Greif
I am an opera singer and I got hired to do what I refer to as a “related skills” dream project—sing and dance as Miss Adelaide in the musical Guys and Dolls with my absolute favorite stage director. I worked on singing in a very different way and tried to brainstorm about the character in advance of the rehearsal period—and I realized she’s a showgirl and a headliner and I was going to have to think hard and make some special personal stage magic if I were going to make it seem like I danced every night and lived in that kind of physical mindset all the time! I was casting around for anything to hold onto in that transformation attempt and was connected through a mutual colleague to Mia Preisser. I saw her work and I knew she was a spectacular artist but had no idea what to expect from a private session. I came in with a blank notebook and a totally open mind about what would transpire and whether it would be any use to me or not—and it turned out to be the most important ingredient in all of my preparation. Mia helped me through a turning point—she immediately put me into a state of play and creative act development that I suspect she must personally exist in most of the time, and that became the core inspiration of a version of the character that finally worked for me! The feeling and attitude of our session stuck with me for the whole run of the show. It wasn’t just valuable, it was so FUN! And the whole concentrated, detail-obsessed attitude of my preparation turned into something delightful and way more efficient after that!
Mia is quick and brilliant as a teacher as well as an artist, and deeply creative. I felt she wasn’t simply handing me ideas, but helping me learn a mode of creating better ideas for myself—a kind of teaching that keeps giving after the session is done. She’s delightful and funny AND still somehow doesn’t waste a second. We took video that still makes me laugh and shiver at my own beauty and magnificence and playfulness!
I got great reviews in this show, but I didn’t need them to know I had done something special, and I feel meeting with Mia was at the heart of it.
Ashanti Doll (Philadelphia)
My experience with Mia has made an act that felt soft & just good enough, become more wondrous and exciting. She truly helped me really feel the movement in my body, and the suggestions given just flowed effortlessly from her. I feel much more connected, and the act feels brand new after just one session together.

I suggest anyone who is need to take their act to the Next Level, take MVP’s ( MIA) Act Development class. She listens to what your vision is and assists you on pinpointing what you want to achieve and brings it to life.
You know you’re seen with her and you’re in a safe, welcoming environment. Regardless if you’re a new performer or seasoned you will benefit from all of her knowledge, creativity and the ability to bring out a sex appeal within you, that you didn’t even know you had. This is the Class to take!!!!
Agent Wednesday (NYC)
I booked a two hour private one-on-one fan dancing class with Mia and it is worth every penny! In the time leading up to the class, Mia was very communicative via email to understand my skill level and goals so she could create the best lesson plan tailored towards the information I gave her. On the day of the lesson, she was prompt to the studio and so patient and kind working with me. I didn’t feel judged or embarrassed for the things I didn’t know. She was very receptive towards my questions and shared her knowledge freely. I learned sooo so much and recommend private lessons to any performer who is looking to majorly elevate their repertoire!
Miss Manhattan (Davenport Iowa)
I had my meeting with MVP today and lets just say I feel so refreshed with an old act.
I went to MVP because I have an act I just grew bored of and felt it was missing and umph and MVP helped give me the guidance and follow through I needed! I feel excited to hit the stage with this act again. She was patient and super sweet as my dogs acted up a little. I was my normal awkward gremlin self but she was very comforting to talk to and explain my wants for the act! 20/10 would recommend to anyone to help with a New act or even an act you grew tired of!!!
